clothesencountersJenn is basically that cool girl from Cali who we all wish we could be. She looks amazing without makeup as well as with a heavy-makeup look. She can wear really simple outfits and can also pull off completely outlandish clothes. She's good with graphics and typography. She has a rare and unique taste in music. She named her channel CLOTHESENCOUNTERS - it's a PUN. Basically I can't get over everything about her, and you just have to tune in to see what I'm talking about. makeupTIAAshley of makeupTIA (which, by the way, stands for That Is All) is a gloriously adorable redhead whose videos automatically put me at ease. Her manner is calming and she's straight to the point, telling us the facts without the fluff and without ever falling into the "perky-quirky" beauty guru mold. Her look is really natural and accessible to everyone - her "everyday makeup tutorials" are actually possible to re-create!! If that weren't enough, her graphics are gorgeous and her filming style is one anyone would like to emulate. She also happens to love Anthropologie and owns beautiful Persian cats, which makes her very close to my heart. We could definitely be shopping pals. Gigi Gorgeous Apparently I was late to the party in following Gigi. I first heard of her on a recent episode of Project Runway All Stars, but she's been making videos for 5 years, first as Gregory Gorgeous and now proudly as Gigi. May I say first that it is SO nice to see transgender representation in the beauty guru corner of Youtube. Gigi braves through the comments and the questions and never stops being herself - her goofy, outlandish, sometimes ADHD self! Her personality may not be for everyone, but I find her hilarious and refreshing. She definitely has over 500,000 subscribers for a reason!!
